About the University of Tabuk<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The university is located in the city of Tabuk in the northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1427 AH and in 2006 AD by order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The establishment of the University of Tabuk in 1427 AH, 2006 CE, represents an explicit expression of the insightful vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, in spreading higher education in all regions of the Kingdom. Currently, there are more than 1659 faculty members in the university, of whom 40% are female, and the number of students exceeds 36,000 students. The university seeks to be a beacon in the fields of education and development. The main campus of the university is located in the city of Tabuk, in the Tabuk region, which is located in the northwest of the Kingdom. And based on the university\u2019s commitment to serving the people of the region, the university has established many branches in all governorates of the region. The university includes the following colleges: (College of Medicine \u2013 College of Engineering \u2013 College of Applied Medical Sciences \u2013 College of Science \u2013 College of Computers and Information Technology \u2013 College of Education and Arts \u2013 College of Home Economics \u2013 College of Community \u2013 College of Sharia and Regulations \u2013 College of Business Administration \u2013 College Pharmacy \u2013 College of Design and Arts \u2013 University College in Duba Governorate \u2013 University College in Al Wajh Governorate \u2013 University College in Majd Governorate \u2013 University College in Haql Governorate \u2013 University Branch in Tayma Governorate). The university is heading to open the Faculty of Tourism in Al Wajh Governorate. In addition, the university contains the following deanships: (Deanship of Admission and Registration \u2013 Deanship of Faculty Members and Personnel Affairs \u2013 Deanship of Student Affairs \u2013 Deanship of Scientific Research \u2013 Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education \u2013 Deanship of Postgraduate Studies \u2013 Deanship of Library Affairs \u2013 Deanship of Development and Quality \u2013 Deanship of Academic Services \u2013 Deanship of Information Technology \u2013 Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education \u2013 Deanship of the Institute for Research and Consulting \u2013 The university also includes the following centers: Sensor Networks and Cellular Systems Research Center \u2013 Research and Renewable Energy Center \u2013 Industrial and Robotic Innovation Center \u2013 English Language Center). The area of \u200b\u200bthe university campus is 12 million square meters, and the university has come a long way in the completion of the university city, and work is still underway to complete the housing project for faculty members and permanent buildings for the faculties of medicine, applied medical sciences, science and business administration. Obtaining academic accreditation from national and international institutions is an important indicator of the quality of the educational process. In this aspect, the university seeks to implement the standards of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment in the Kingdom before the end of the year 1435 AH (2014 AD). The following programs at the university have obtained academic accreditation from the international bodies indicated next to each of them \u2013 Technical and functional education program for the pre-bachelor\u2019s stage in the Community College of the Academic Accreditation Board approved by the Ministry of Education in the United States of America in the month of Dhul Qa\u2019dah in 1431 AH corresponding to the month October 2010.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The university implements from the university\u2019s attachments and studies that the region is of interest internally and through global partnerships in the United States of America, Italy, Germany and its closest, Turkey and others. The university also adopts two research chairs supported by His Royal Highness Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Tabuk, and they are:
    The first: The Prince Fahd Bin Sultan Chair for Science Research in uncovering diseases and their causes and contributing to their treatment.
    The second: The Prince Fahd Bin Sultan Chair for the Study of Youth Issues and Their Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
