To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
You have applied for graduate research work at the University of Melbourne’s School of Engineering and meet the necessary requirements.
You have already enrolled for graduate research work at the University of Melbourne’s School of Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can take up this scholarship with other scholarships offered by the University of Melbourne’s School of Engineering or external funding bodies including government scholarships.
The scholarship is not open to fund other courses at the University of Melbourne.
Recipients are expected to pass all course materials and achieve a minimum average of 65%.
Recipients who fail to achieve the 65% minimum will be notified by the Scholarship Officer and their scholarship award canceled.
Scholarship payments for full-time students are tax deductible.
If you are enrolled part-time, the University of Melbourne will not withhold income tax from your scholarship payments.
However, you should declare your payments as income that can be estimated in your tax return or seek independent tax advice to ensure you cover your individual circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The College of Engineering at the University of Melbourne is offering scholarships of a total value of $ 5,000 – $ 20,000.
The scholarships are paid in semi-annual installments to full-time students for a maximum of two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
