The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) provides grants for refugees at universities and institutions through the German Academy Albert Einstein to the Refugee Initiative Fund (DAFI) funded by the German government. The qualifications for these grants include that the candidate should be a recognized refugee.
The Albert Einstein Initiative Program aims to provide refugees with a professional qualification for future work.
Scholarships are awarded only to study in the country of asylum.
Provided that scholarships are renewed after a full academic year.
