Please note that for the application round of 2023, a new version of the MSP obligations and conditions is to be released soon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\"><strong>English proficiency<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You need English language skills because most courses are offered in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\"><strong>Priority areas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You have to be working within one of the following priority themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rule of law<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Democratisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media \/ Journalism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food Security<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agriculture and Water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In Sudan the Mena Scholarship Programme is available for employees of non-governmental organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\"><strong>Employer statement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You need an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyinnl.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2020-06\/fomat-employers-statement-okp-and-msp-programmes.docx\">employer statement (105.6 kB) (105.6 kB)<\/a>&nbsp;that is signed by you and your employer. It shows us that your employer supports your application. And that you can share the knowledge and experience you gained in the Netherlands once you return to Sudan. This is required because the MSP is focused at strengthening organisations by strengthening people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The education institution will inform you on the requirements needed for your application. Most of the courses are designed for professionals with at least a BSC-level (or equivalent) and a minimum of relevant working experience. Applications from students will not be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In order to apply for one of the courses you must motivate:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>that you work within the priority themes for Sudan as mentioned above;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how the courses will strengthen both you and the organisation you work for;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how you will use your newly gained knowledge and experience in your organisation after your study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We especially encourage women to apply for a scholarship. 50% of all scholarships per country are reserved for women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"available-courses-\"><strong>Available courses<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the provisional MSP course list for the application round that is opening on 8 February 2023 and closing on <strong>30 March 2023<\/strong> 16:00 CET. Only a small number of the best candidates receive a scholarship.
