Fellows spend two to three months working with host organisations in Germany or CCP partner countries to broaden their expertise, build valuable networks and further develop their intercultural skills. In return, the host organisations benefit from the expertise, regional knowledge and networks of the CCP Fellows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants have the opportunity to take part in cross-cultural workshops, networking events and professional meetings organised by the CCP. The experience gained abroad will be integrated into the work of the Fellows&#8217; home organisations upon their return.<br><br>The CCP Fellowships for 2025 will be offered as&nbsp;<strong>on-site Fellowships<\/strong>. Depending on individual circumstances and applicable travel regulations, Fellows may also opt for digital participation. The programme is subject to funding by the German Federal Foreign Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-534ee49e45d7172feae174ce3210c65f\"><strong>Countries currently participating in the programme are:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Philippines, Republic of Moldova, Russia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1733d54eb261bfd3d477ae52fa6574b1\"><strong>Who is eligible to apply for the CCP?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the prerequisites?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum age is 23 years at the time of application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work experience: At least two years of proven professional experience or volunteer work in a civil society organisation in the home country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language skills: Good command of written and spoken English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health status: Ability to undertake a prolonged stay abroad (if you are uncertain whether your state of health allows you to participate, please contact crossculture@ifa.de)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exclusion criteria:<\/strong>\u00a0students\u00a0<strong>are not eligible to<\/strong>\u00a0participate in the programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is desirable?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Long-term social or community commitment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existing or planned collaboration with an organisation in the host country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional language skills, particularly German<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Fellowships are principally awarded to&nbsp;<strong>people working in the following subjects and professional fields<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Politics and society<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g. active as a critical thinking trainer, social worker, trainer working with marginalised groups, think tank employee, political activist, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Media and culture<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g. active as a film producer, journalist, actor, artist, theatre employee, TV or radio moderator, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Human rights and peace<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g. active as a human rights mediator or activist, conflict resolution and peacebuilding trainer, fighter against violent extremism and radicalisation, children\u2019s rights advocate, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sustainable development and climate justice<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g. active as a water quality project coordinator, quality manager for fair-trade products, ecotourism tour guide, architect for sustainable architecture, grassroots climate activist, scientist for sustainable future scenarios, protector of nature reservation sites, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 2025, the programme will also focus on the following key issues:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Culture of remembrance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender and diversity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7ab68a57647caae7192f5b155d290520\"><strong>What does the funding Include?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the CCP Fellowship is to support and strengthen civil society actors in their commitment. This includes the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaboration with a host organisation from the CCP network<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentoring for the duration of the Fellowship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional development opportunities (online or on-site) in the Fellows&#8217; field of work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking with other CCP Fellowship holders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inclusion in the CCP alumni network<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Fellowship holders focussing on one of the CCP\u2019s 2025 key topics: participation in an additional event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Participants from abroad<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ifa will cover the following costs&nbsp;<strong>for participants from abroad<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a monthly stipend of 650 euros<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>round-trip airfare<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>accommodation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monthly public transportation ticket within the fellow\u2019s city of residence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>health insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reimbursement of any visa fees incurred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme does&nbsp;<strong><u>not<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;provide for the accompaniment of family members such as spouses\/partners or children. ifa will not assume any additional costs or responsibilities for other individuals.
