I built this course to help today’s engineers earn ICND1 certification or just to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts that any professional engineer would need to work in the field of network design and management, whether these are LANs, or WAN / MAN networks.
The reason for my choosing this particular course is based on the experience I gained as a supervising and design engineer in the largest telecommunications companies in Iraq, and through my work as a university teacher after that, as I went back to engineering work with telecommunications companies and internet service providers and found a gap between what the engineers thought was important, and what Show what is really important to be able to perform their daily tasks in the labor market.
The course has traditionally been divided in most of it in terms of gradually approaching ideas and principles and according to what is known in order to be able to follow each according to his desire, as you can follow the course side by side with any other course or your university study, and you can also prepare for the test by delving into the ideas that You may have confusion or misunderstanding, or it may simply have long lived from the last time you studied these ideas.
In the first section of the course, we will learn about the TCP IP and OSI working models, which are the cornerstone of any other information you will need to understand how networks and protocols that will come next, so I advise everyone to watch them even if you are familiar with these models.
Then, in the next section, we will learn about addressing using the IP Addressing system, which is used to regulate access to devices on the Internet in addition to what is further from that.
After these basic sections, we get acquainted with all the important layers in the global network architecture, in addition to going through practical laboratories that you will need in case you want to practice the ideas that are presented in a manner similar to what is applied in the labor market today. So I advise you to follow it closely.
